Preventive shot against Influenza.

Today, I got a preventive shot against influenza.
Last January, I had A type influenza, then I had fever over
40 degC. It was terrivle experience. The cost, 2000yen is
not expensive for me.
This winter, I keep immune strength, and practice hard
Snow Boarding.

When I went to the English class,my teacher used the word "flu"many time.
But I didn't know what the meaning oｆ that word. So I checked it in the dictionary.and I knew that "flu" mean's ”influenza”.
あぁ～、これ以上は無理だ～（－－）

英語でかけなかった部分ですが、”flu”って、インフルエンザの短縮形だから、意味としては
”ナメてかかると怖い病気なんですよ、実は・・・”
なんだけど、サウンドは可愛いな～♪って思ったんです、私（＾＾）
予防接種か～。
お金あったら受けるんだけどな～。
貧乏人はインフルエンザに負けないように体力づくりに励むのです！

I didn't know the word "flu". So I looked at a dictionary.
Oh! "flu" may be commoner than "influenza".
I have little occasion to talk with natives, so please teach me
living English in the future.

たしかにfluは「フル～♪」って感じで、楽しげな響きが・・・
